Like a Bakery

Before Little Fox started up I was a sales rep for a medical equipment company.  My daily sales calls took me to nursing homes, hospitals, doctor’s offices, and several other places in the healthcare industry.  In that industry one of the best ways to get time in front of someone is to bring something for them to eat.  Since I didn’t have a huge marketing budget at the time I couldn’t do dinners or lunches often so I settled for breakfasts and snacks.  Over time I became very familiar with every bakery, donut shop, and coffee house in the area.  I quickly cataloged what each of my referral sources liked and figured ways of tailoring these little treats to them personally.  The places I went to the most often were the bakeries that would fulfill my little requests for things like all black and orange sprinkles for a Bengals fan or making an item that isn’t on their current menu for me because a nurse really liked it.  These little special touches made me stand out and eventually increased my sales.

When we started Little Fox Engraving I wanted to set up our shop sort to be like a one of those bakeries that went above and beyond for me.  We have all of our standard offerings, but we love special requests.  We will try our best to make it happen whether it is changing something small to personalize an item we make, asking us to make something they’ve seen on the internet or Pinterest, or coming up with a completely original idea.

Just last night we completed a special order on our O in Ohio Sign.  The right image is our standard sign.  The left one we were requested to put a star where the hometown of the intended recipient is while he is stationed away with the Coast Guard.  Little touches like that are what we love.

If you have any ideas or see something you want further customized please let us know.  We love creative customers and making unique and personal gifts.
